It is someone from the UK who’s business is based in the states
A Brit. with money, interested in football, business based in the USA - probably David Beckham.
Now that would be something but can't see it somehow!

I don’t think David and Victoria Beckham would need to invest in Barrow to get access to the UK market. I think they may be well known enough in the UK already just a touch ha

Really good interview with Paul Hornby.Laid his cards on the table and told people exactly how it is.Hopefully now people will realise what it takes to run a football club an the challenges the owners face.I am just grateful we have local.people who really care and want to build a long term sustainability into our club going forward.I just hope people now get off their backs and realise what massive strides have been made in quite a short period.

We have come a bloody long way but the jobs not finished yet, we will certainly need more Iron ore and shipbuilders tea to do that!👍

Irrespective of all this wonderful speculation, the fact that Paul Hornby has been prepared to go on record with it suggests one of two things.

Either that the investment is a done deal or perhaps more likely that whatever discussions that were being undertaken have been completed without a positive outcome.

They’re still in dialogue so certainly not dead in the water

Yes. Paul Hornby’s comments did suggest this. I just find it odd that he would drop this piece of news into the public domain whilst discussions were still active.

Unless of course the information was going to leak anyway. There have been rumblings on the jungle telegraph on this topic for a few weeks now.

A rumble in the jungle - I like it.

I heard something last week so utterly outlandish it could be true (not related to our mystery celeb).

Probably a bit early to go rumour-mongering.

A British celebrity with business interests in the USA and elsewhere. Prince Harry in other words. Who else could it possibly be?

Really good interviews them; even if you attended or watched the Q+A they are well worth 20 minutes of any Barrow fans time

I hate listening to Paul Hornby he gets you so excited and then we end up with the stress of this season !😂, it's really fascinating to hear of how we've progressed and he alluded to some of us ( all of us 😀) catastrafying everything ( if that's a word and have I spelt it right?) BUT we know what he means 😏, sounds like we're going in the right direction and possibly doing something with the popular side that'll go down well!😂
But to be honest it needs knocking down!
Anyway brilliant of Adam to put it on here because I would never have listened to it !

Catastrophizing was a used a lot by Pete Wild when we got a few bad results that and “ bumps in the road “ were other favourites of his
