He wants expansive attacking football, great to hear. That discounts Holt. Get rid, finished.

Lacking Managerial Experience but lots of playing experience and should have an army of contacts.

I think its a great appointment, attractive attacking football.....bring it on.
Good luck Ian, now its time for us the fans to back him and the club.......

Finally let's he hope he is another Danny Livesey type player.
Will be hungry ,let's hope he can assemble some decent players
The fact he was not given the job by Chesterfield will spur him on to show them they mad a mistake.
You’ve left your laptop logged on & someone has posted something positive on your account, School boy error & im surprised you know someone who thinks positively every now & then🤪

It's called having a opinion.
I could have mentioned that he stated he and Andrew are on the same wave length which is very worrying!
He did go on to say he wants us to aim for the Football League.
He has a job on his hands especially with Red Adair running the club, but let's hope he can do it,but we saw how Ady was rewarded.

See he's thanked his agent for making it happen on twitter. Presume all the folk slagging off agents will be fine with them now it suits the agenda.
I think we need to leave the past in the past time to put old arguments to bed and get behind the new man and the club as we take a different direction .. You have your own agenda it seems dragging out quotes when it suits.. As for agents one particular agent caused a load of shit but let's leave all that in the past where it belongs
Agree Charlie we need to move on and back what we have, not always as easy as it seems although, but we must try!!
As regards to agents I think the agent in question showed a fair bit of naivety and nothing more, he is as much of a supporter as any of us and will have learnt valuable lessons along the way, as hopefully all of us have. We all make mistakes along the way, but it is what we learn from them that shapes us all, but it doesn't mean we won't make more somewhere along the line.

We’re all entitled to an opinion but this one of yours goes against the hundreds of the Casson’s are running the club into the ground on purpose!! Or are you going to be man enough to admit you were wrong?

All very experimental for next term then; let's hope it's a success and by that I mean staying in the division again. Success in football is usually about financial investment - something we won't be getting too much of by the sound of things but maybe we can do a Macclesfield and over achieve in spite of the budget.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Seems a good appointment.

Good luck to the lad. It can't be worse than last season.

There seems to be a positive reaction to this appointment and, with relatively low expectations for the season, there should be a lot of goodwill from the fans.
