Having just seen the PNE highlights, the ground is totally different from our National League days, great work.
What highlights? I can't see any on the club site.

The link is on the Barrow v Preston NE match thread, at 3:57 - they are PNE highlights, not ours. Pretty good though.

From my view in the press box there’s only one maybe two seats that are under the roofless part

Thanks for the link. First time I have seen the new stands and they are larger than I imagined. It gives an idea of what our ground might look like with a full-length permanent structure one day.

Yes, and the difference in atmosphere if both of the new sections are full will be significant.

The new stands look great, especially the away end which is so so much better than what they previously had, I can’t see many complaining especially if they have visited in the last few years.

Also, does anyone know why PNE have published the highlights?

Why wouldn't they?

Bigger club, staff to match, I guess.

Yes, but why haven’t we published them as the home team? We have a new media manager now. I’m not griping, just wondered why we as the home team haven’t published them when it was obviously being filmed from our camera position, it wasn’t like it was a random camera angle that PNE chose, and it was essentially an iFollow highlights package.

As well, even FCUM managed a stream of our game. Lots of teams do it now, even Bury streamed their game with PNE. A couple of years ago Blackpool streamed our friendly with them on YouTube.

Why do we not have the ability or desire to do this? I think it’s great being able to see the games from afar and see the early development of the team, which by the way seems to be coming on nicely.

I’m well aware this has now turned in to a gripe

It was a member of the PNE media team that recorded them

Barrow don’t have a cameraman and the iFollow camera crews don’t record friendlies

I realise its been on somewhere else but can't find the numbers. What is the seating capacity when everything is completed and how much will each section hold?

Matt Dodd used to do it, he produced the 'Inside Barrow' videos etc but he's now left.

112 in the HSE
552 in the away seated east stand
371 in the west terrace (home side of the main stand)
196 in the steelworks end
And then whatever the main stand holds, can never remember

Takes it roughly over 2,000
