Someone has been making mischief with his wiki page.
"In May 2021 Cooper and Dryden were announced as manager and assistant manager respectively of League Two side Barrow AFC ahead of what is anticipated to be a season of promotion and trophies".

Heβs been knocking about Barrow today.
Not official sighting unless in Asda.
Was spotted in Asda at the butchery section filling his trolley with prime cuts. Apparently said he had a lot of catching up to do.

Interesting browsing the Stroud press from when Cooper was sacked. One fan saying he never really formed a connection with the supporters. Conversely a couple of my friends who follow lower division/national league clubs reckon hed be a cracking appointment.

Any appointment of a new manager assuming that it may be Mark Cooper will be after if Morecambe progress to EFL1 and their manager decides to stay. If not then he may be off to Bradford and then Mark Cooper will be amongst a list of potential manager to take over at Morecambe FC.

Both things can be be true. We've come to associate our better experiences with managers as them having been "great blokes". Its almost become a pre-requisite for a supporters choice nowadays. But doesn't have to be that way. And if it is Cooper it wont be. But as has been mentioned already FGR is based in a small tight knit community. And Cooper did find the will to work with a rather eccentric owner. So clearly it can work.
