No way we want bargain basement players.
Cox has done well picking up some cheap player to develop.A team needs some experience and a good goalkeeper has been missing for a long time.
I really think it shows how the cash is running out or being withheld ,first the ground developments are put on hold and now we are dregeing the depths for players.

For those who say Paul Casson has done well he has but boy are we stuttering now.
Are you saying that a Championship keeper, who plays for an international under-21 side, is bargain basement?
As for the rest of your post, you constantly roll out this "money is drying up" myth - and constantly prove yourself to be a tool.
I will take your word for it that I am a tool as you look at one every time you look in the mirror So must accept that .

Read what Cox says in the mail WE ARE THE ONLY CLUB IN THE TOP SIX NOT TO HAVE BOUGHT ANY PLAYERS
So PC states what I've been saying lack of spending.

Casson promised lots and delivered little.
I am not a sycophant and only interested in Barrow AFC not someone's who wants a play thing for my ego.

We must have one of the smallest squads in the league if you take out the players we have borrowed who can be recalled anytime like the Goalkeeper.

Casson promised lots and delivered little. Well at least he delivered a future, which at the time of him taking over . We didn't have one.

You might not be a tool (jury out), but you do come out with some nonsense.
I can't believe you are calling the chairman..."promised lots and delivered little". Seems to me you haven't a clue. The spending is on contracted players salaries, not on buying them from other clubs. How do you think we have got the players we have? It's forking out for their wages. maybe the jury's verdict is guilty...

Has it taken you the best part of three days to come up with that retort? Nice one.
"WE ARE THE ONLY CLUB IN THE TOP SIX NOT TO HAVE BOUGHT ANY PLAYERS" - so that means there's no money available? Good logic. You think Beeley or Harrison aren't on League 2 wages? The fees we're paying in wages will amount to some of the miniscule fees that the clubs around us are shelling out. Eastleigh aside, I don't think any clubs have shelled out more than about £20k on a player this season. Just because we're making free transfers doesn't mean they're cheaper.

Are you saying that everyone who isn't criticising is a sycophant? First, I suggest you look up the definition of the word - I'm not sure I'll ever meet Paul Casson or have any cause to - and secondly, the only reason a lot of people aren't criticising is because they are currently enjoying going to the football every couple of weeks, where at one point it had become a bit of a chore. Criticising doesn't make you anymore of a renegade or an independent thinker, it makes you bitter and twisted without any real cause to be.

Enjoy the rest of your night.

"Casson promised lots and delivered little" according to Pedro - a hard man to please.

We are half way thru the season and in the Play Off zone, doing well in the FA Trophy and have a sell out FA Cup 3rd round tie at home against League 1 opponents. The BBC are presenting Football Focus from the club and the FA Cup itself will be on show.

Delivered little? I have never known so much achievement and recognition for the club and we are not done yet; there is still Phase 2 to formulate and execute - these guys know what they are doing.
We will follow the soccer, over land and sea...

You sound as cynical as John McKay. Are you using a false name John?

Absolutely agree, this is the problem with being a 'money club' though, where does it end? If we get promoted how long before people arent happy we arent winning league 2, then league 1 and so on? Its amazing people can be unhappy at the position we are in and the calibre of player we currently have.

Timing could be right and seems to have left with no animosity from fans.

Just hope this deal for a new keeper is ironed out soon. Don't want to get squashed on the goalkeeper front. Hopefully we can provide some kind of temporary accommodation.
