Is Jameson carrying a knock? Thought he did well at centre back when he first joined

512 away fans, superb
No way was there only 512 Barrow fans, I must of seen 100+ escorted through the home end pre KO as mentioned above.

4 posts about the match on the Salford Fans Forum and all were very complimentary to Barrow's play although thought we were let down by our finishing.

He was very poor against Maidstone and was lucky not to be sent off, according to a friend who went. I think it’s a case of him just being dropped for now.

Only seen him v Chesterfield, and on highlights, but he seems to get caught out of position too much. That could be said of other defenders too. Perfect example Molyneux yesterday for their first. Individually on the ball they aren’t bad, but very poor as a unit. That area definitely needs attention in my opinion. Too many opposition goals from set pieces.

its no real surprise that we have 2 centre halves and 2 "bigger" strikers injured and we are struggling a little bit at both ends of the pitch.
hopefully we will improve once the injured players get back and the players bed in with a few more games under their belts.
It seems the effort is there.

did anyone pick up on the Salford `city post match irony, ? on the way out - playing 'Money Talks' over the tannoy ?? Who says united fans don't have a humour ???
Didn't get that one but there was some good tunes played over the tannoy.
Was surprised to hear John Kongos "He's gonna step on you again" not used to hearing that!

The defence has been the most changed area of the pitch, selection-wise so it’s understandable it’s still lacking cohesion.

Someone needs to tell Dan Jones that at CH you can’t try and take a man on every time your in posession. He nearly got caught out several times! I’m all for the great football we’re playing but there’s a time and a place!

Heard yesterday that granite was playing with a bad chest infection.
evatt can't think much of Jameson if he doesn't put him in the 11 over an ill josh granite

Boyliegladbach, agree with you on many points on this topic particularly the ref,but criticism aimed at Waterston is out of order.Hes made a big step up and I think improving all the time, thought he was good monday, quick ,strong running and did put some good crosses in but to who ?

I think Jameson may have been rested for the first game when Jones came in, then when Jones played well Evatt picked him again for the next game.
With the lack of height in our defence, plus Eldon's injury, it does look as though we need to add a tall, experienced defender to our squad.
