Regardless of your pedantry we should be coming up with a solution to stay up in the first place.
Wasn’t being pedantic, I just didn’t want you thinking we had more games to try and turn it around than we actually have.
It's being pedantic. It's not like we are 7 points adrift with 3 games to go. Fwiw I don't think Jolley will keep us up.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Accurate is the word I was looking for, but hey you please yourself.

FWIW Jolley is a fraud and there is absolutely no way he’ll keep us up. At least on that we agree.

Good post Kieran.

I know you have to have a backup plan and change formation if the initial one clearly isn’t working, but constantly changing it is just counterproductive and leads to an enormous amount of confusion. When you’ve got a group of players who are still trying to gel together, the last thing you want is added complications.

It’s hard not to despair, I want to be positive, but it just feels like a few more bad results down the line we’ll have to act. I’d be happy to see Rob Kelly take over the reins now and see what we can do with the remaining 19 matches.

Let’s pick a formation that we’re comfortable with, choose our strongest and most importantly most dedicated 11 and give it our best shot. Relegation out of the football league, after all these years, doesn’t bear thinking about. Time to act while there is still time.

As a supporter for more years than I care to remember, I have always got either upset, or angry at losing. But I'm afraid right now I just don't feel anything. And I really don't like admitting it. We have had in my time many great players, many good players, many players who were'nt that good, but gave it a real go. Wilkie 1990.
We have also had the same with managers, they have all brought different things to our club. After waiting 48 years to see us back in the football league. I don't mind admitting to shedding many a tear when it finally happened. I wanted, like everyone to be able to turn up at Holker Street to join in with the players who made my dream come true. It was'nt to be. And now most of that team has gone or not being involved. But since Evatt left and along with it the best football I've ever seen, I now just feel numb. I have nothing but my utmost respect for all the owners who saved us, took us forward and gave our old ground a fantastic new look. That is also along with the numerous band of volunteers who have spent years keeping the ground from falling down 😄 What I'm trying to say is that I just don't feel any affinity to the players or the managers we've had or have now. And that hurts.

Apologies for my ramblings, but right now I just feel sad.

I wouldn't have thought you'd be on your own with those thoughts Graham.

Whether they ask them or answer them. We will have to wait and see

This can be traced back to poor recruitment in summer. The thing that saddens me as much as anything is that we have totally lost our footballing identity. We are a shadow of the side that got promoted.

The one absolutely key must recruit position to suit the system and team that Dunn inherited and we inexplicably didnt fix that.

and that's the problem if the questions get too personal I'm sure it could be the end with some of them not being on the board that's the last thing we want, the club needs stability at present we're in free fall!,I would rather they didn't hold it right now because I've a horrible feeling it's going to end in tears!

The session shouldn’t get personal Nige, that’s not going to help anyone or anything. The questions need to be brutally honest though - even if that means it’s uncomfortable for the people answering them.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
