We need players in who are going to bust a gut and give a shit. Kay in for me as long as he’s told to behave, need white back in the side. I like Banks but recently he’s been very poor, pedestrian, starting to think chucking him up top might not be a bad shout.

All the shortcomings, issues and gripes need to be parked off for now. There’s only one thing we fans can do and that’s back the Manager and players to the hilt for the next 8 games and hope that something clicks starting Saturday.

I would start with Sea and Kay up front this week against Vale cos lets be brutally honest, the other two forwards aint been doing it have they.

No, that's exactly the case.

It is down to the manager to manage the team, not a Director of Football.

The manager would managed the day to running of the team. However, a director of football (with a decent amount of league experience) would guide the boards decision making around management appointments. While supporting the manger and board with player and back room recruitment. If you remember, at the start of the season, we were getting messed about with physio staff, playing us off for higher wages. I'm speculating, but I'd imagine that wouldn't have happed if we had a steady hand guiding the ship. If we go down, we've only got ourselves to blame. Not the refs, it's the players and very sketchy board decisions. Heck, I've travelled a bit and had a look in some of the club shops... They're stacked! You could have got a Leyton Orient "Mother's Day" card. What have a got in ours, nothing! It's embarrassing. We're missing revenue! Non-League setup in the football league. I get what people have said about staying positive, but the cracks have appeared! We all excused last season, but this year, it's an embarrassment.

Hopefully 22nd but we do need goals, current lowest EFL scorers, Championship Hull 33, Peterborough 32, Barnsley 28. League 1 Gillingham 31, Crewe 30, Doncaster 28. League 2 Barrow 33, Scunthorpe 26, with 8 games left how many more will we score 3/4 maybe.

To think we'd probably scored about 70% of that figure in the first 15 games of the season it's pretty damning, 3-0 win at Oldham, 3-2 win against Hartlepool etc.

Decided to work this out - 61% I calculated it as.
