Re: A view on where Barrow will finish
I think tonights Orient result result will be crucial for us.
If Athletic win-I would also back them to carry that momentum into the Borough game on Saturday.

Scunny definitely down and any 1 of Oldham, Stevenage and us. Don't have a clue which one as all 3 are dire. Will be watching the Oldham v Orient match tonight with fingers firmly crossed for an Orient win followed by a Stevenage win or draw against Oldham on Saturday.

Between them Oldham and Stevenage have one point from a combined 12 games.
Whilst I do see the importance of Oldhams next two games, the fact that we are contemplating the damage done to our chances of survival by the prospect of them winning for the first time in 9 games just shows you how bad we are.

Terrible when I’m pacing around hoping for an Orient win but that’s where we are right now.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Having watched Oldham tonight, I believe we will be relegated. You cannot go all season with no attacking threat. Holloway and Gordon would struggle to score if they were the only 2 players on the pitch. As an attacking force we are pathetic!
Re: A view on where Barrow will finish
I can see Gordon getting stuck in on Saturday but certainly not his strike partner.Desmond2-2 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 10:31 pm Having watched Oldham tonight, I believe we will be relegated. Last five games - only one team in the bottom six with a better points total than Barrow.
Re: A view on where Barrow will finish
We fought tooth and nail to get to the football league but we haven't fought to stay here. The board have installed a revolving door on the managers office and have made some very strange decisions. The players have rolled over and allowed opposing players to stroke their tummies. We couldn't find the goal if it was painted orange. The only element of Barrow that has regularly turned up is the fans. We've travelled away in numbers and poured into HS on a weekly basis. However, that doesn't get us points. If we stay up, the players, the manager and the board don't deserve a cheer or a clap... I'll applaud us, the fans... But for vast spells we've been devoid of anything to cheer! We're a national league outfit punching above our weight. For two seasons we've relied on poorer teams to keep us up! When will that luck run out?

Totally agree, every home match the team silences the fans with the awful performances. Re: A view on where Barrow will finish
I’d be tempted to start Harris alongside Holloway if we are playing two up front; think he’d do a lot better than we have seen so far when he isn’t the one who’s expected to win the headers, lead the line etcDesmond2-2 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 10:31 pm Having watched Oldham tonight, I believe we will be relegated. I would like to think we`er trying all these scenarios at training, oh wait a minute Holloway can`t attend training what an absolute farce our club have become !HenneysKnee wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 7:27 amI’d be tempted to start Harris alongside Holloway if we are playing two up front; think he’d do a lot better than we have seen so far when he isn’t the one who’s expected to win the headers, lead the line etcDesmond2-2 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 10:31 pm Having watched Oldham tonight, I believe we will be relegated. It wouldnt be so bad if what the team lacked in skill, they made up for in fight and determination to get something out of a game--Just like Oldham did last night.
Re: A view on where Barrow will finish
And just what did Oldham have tonight that we havent?.Desmond2-2 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 10:31 pm Having watched Oldham tonight, I believe we will be relegated. Well, from what I saw they were certainly no better than Barrow 'but', They had that fight and desire-that will to put their bodies on the line to get something out of the game. That's something we need starting this Saturday against Vale.

I think we need to wipe the slate clean and forget about past performances lets just try and back the players for the last 8 games
