Bit of a scatter gun approach to recruitment .... if we sign 10 strikers we are bound to get a good 'un. Said no-one ever!

Another valid point would be that if after around half of the season over, if the midfielders mentioned had scored half of the goals that they did over the whole of last season, Barrow may have up to eighteen further points by now. Realistically, it may have been eight points or so.
