Well there's one thing for sure - if Dino has walked because of the tools he has to work with then there is only one source of blame that it can be traced back to, well before January.
For someone with Dino's past record of survival rescues to just walk away shows just how bad this lot are.

Ffs it’s not the manager or even managers. These players are a pile of shite. They’re just not good enough. It’s as simple as that.

Really don’t care anymore. Dead and buried as far as I’m aware so we might aswel have one last roll of the dice. you never know.

Foley being mentioned, at least he knows the squad and it’s frailty’s and strengths (if there is any)

Someone really has to stand up whoever is enforcing this system we can’t play. There’s clearly some dented egos who don’t want to admit they’ve got it wrong. There’s 11 cup finals left it’s time for everyone to step up.

That post from the board implies they’ve sacked him. Incredible decision if true.

Barrow AFC can confirm Dino Maamria has left the club today. We would like to thank Dino for his efforts and wish him well for the future.

Sam Foley, supported by Simon Ireland and David Worrall, will take the team until the end of the season. We recognise that this has been a very disappointing season with far too much managerial change. As the Board of Directors, we understand that the buck stops with us. We believe this change gives us the best chance of remaining in the football league.

The Q&A event in the Cross Bar will go ahead as planned on Friday evening and members of the Board will be there to answer questions directly.

Dino’s hands were tied given that he couldn’t bring anyone in to make a difference. But he knew the terms. There were a few that didn’t take to him, credit to Dino I say he wasn’t here to be liked but to get points on the board.
Players again dictating terms and not carrying out his instructions on the pitch. We are becoming a complete embarrassment of a club.

The chickens are coming home to roost sadly. Since we've been in this league, we've had (talking long term here not just one or two seasons):

- No stability
- No ideas or direction of what club we want to be
- No consistent recruitment model
- A ridiculous number of head coaches in the space of nearly six seasons, sacking managers at the first sign of a moan from the players who've seen the back of four coaches in a 3/4 of a season.

The BoD are well meaning and we are grateful for their financial input but it's sadly being proven they don't have the knowledge on how to operate a football club properly. What's even more painful is that you have the likes of Saturday's opponents who have a lower budget and (apart from the last few months) lower crowds yet are doing absolutely fine because they are prepared to stand by their appointments when the going gets tough and have an actual strategy in place in terms of player recruitment.
Popular side since '03.

We did we got Mark Cooper and how did that work out ?
So you'd take a punt on someone whos level is coaching Dalton coz he talks a good game on the radio? 😂

Im hearing Foley taking charge. Another mistake IMO
I think it’s a good appointment and brave move by the board. What did the club have to lose ? Foley knows the team inside out and will give us a bit of much needed fight as well being desperate to keep the job for next season.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry, just what do the board expect to happen here??
We can't have the player's dictating who's the Manager especially if one was Canavan a great example of leadership 3 sending off's, standing around in defence and blaming everyone else!
I just can't wait for this absolute basket case of a season to end !

It’s nothing short of shambolic. That performance last night was on the players, not the coach. They were second best all game and didn't see any of them trying to encourage their team mates or lead on the pitch. Losing is one thing, but it’s the manner of the defeats that is hard to take.
