How did you get into Barrow AFC? Went with 2 mates from school when I was 11 in 1971
What was your first match? I think it was Cambridge Utd
How many times have you seen the team play? No idea but it's hundreds
Do you travel to away games? I travel to home games (70 mile round trip) V occasionally I go away.
What does Barrow AFC mean to you? It's in my blood
Who is your current and all time fave player? Rutherford when he's on form,Jim Pearson.

Pretty much every Home since the promotion season and I have also been to a few away' games.
Do you travel to away games?
Just started going to a few away games towards the end of last season (im nearly 16 so hopefully I will be going to more and more).
What does Barrow AFC mean to you?
My favourite team, no team will ever mean as much.
Who is your curent and all time fave player?
My favourite current player is Mike Pearson and my all time favourite player is Matt Henney.

Near enough every game since I started going to watch them a few season back

I'm only 15 but I have recently started going to away games, this season I have been to Lancaster pre season, York and Southport. Plenty more to come this season.

Agreed though he was a shining star amidst the general dross on display in those days - I particularly used to love the way he used to push the ball past his full-back then appear to bum him in order to win a free-kick for obstruction. He also like to beat the full-back about two thousand times before putting a cross in!
I think he was a PE teacher.

Nice blast from the past with all this Cooky talk. He was one of the first players I remember at Holker St, and a decent player.

The other class act from around the same time was Kevin Thomas. I'm i right in thinking he was only at Holker St because of some insurance payment he recieved over an injury and therefore couldn't play in the football league
