No stranger to the 3rd round of the Cup as this clip shows.

Irony is he was on loan at Wrexham covering for the injured Andy Coughlin !

He didn't look too impressive in that clip.
Further irony if we get Stoke in the 4th round... :D

He also played the last ten games for Cheltenham last season. Winning 7, drawing 1 and losing 2. We all know what happened to them last year!

Irony don't you just love it!

So we've now got 4 keepers on the books - and some say our squad is light.

Unbelievable scenes.

So who plays Saturday? Maybe we could just go Melvin's drummer style and just put two in.

Flatt has obviously be signed to be first choice until Dixon returns next season. Coughlin might leave in the transfer window but as Rawlins has dual registration he can play when we need him whether Coughlin stays or not. If Rawlins turns out to be good then he will challenge Dixon for the No 1 spot next season.

Only just signed a new contract so must be highly rated at Molineux, he certainly did well at Cheltenham last season.

If he's anywhere near the standard of Tim Erlandsson he'l do nicely, that lad was class.

Interesting that Matt Murray has things to say about both our new goalkeepers.
He was favourable to the young keeper from Market Drayton, and this a little while back about Flatt

Sorry to see him hurt but not really up to it.
The lad from Forest showed what Dixon lacked ,quality even though he and Coughlin are England C players.

Disagree. Admittedly I've only seen Dixon about 8 times in the last couple of years but they were all away matches in which a goalkeeper generally has more to do and, although I've seen him make a couple of kicking errors which he certainly needs to work on, I've never seen him have a bad game and his handling of crosses and his shot stopping have been excellent.

Afraid Pedro and one or 2 others on here are not keen, but generally he is not a bad keeper. He had a couple of horror moments in close succession October time which he was punished for although he was also let down by others not doing their jobs but the error came from him so as usual he takes the shit.
Since that I think he did well with kicking handling and shot stopping before the injury and would be happy to see him back next season but he is out of contract in may so will just have to wait and see what happens along with rest of the squad.
Good luck to both the new lads and think we will see Mr Flat in goal Saturday
