totally agree, I think pennock has thrown his toys out of his pram over jones and he is now showing him who is bossBigfathoss wrote: ↑Fri Mar 30, 2018 5:22 pmChose a meaningless z-rate international over being in peak condition for his teammates fighting relegation. I'd bench him as well.

Re: Boreham Wood (A) 30/3/18
Jones is more worried what he looks like than how he plays
Re: Boreham Wood (A) 30/3/18
His red card the other week cancels out his previous yellows does it not?
Popular side since '03.

Was unsure what the reset point was whether end of march meant as in last saturday of march.
Iv since learned reset point was last week so as he wasn't booked against Dover he is ok

Really good point,we need a win against Fylde .
It's who is going to score, hopefully Andy Cook will get a few against Solihull

I expected no points this weekend from two tough games so that’s already a bonus point

Re: Boreham Wood (A) 30/3/18
The press sit in a box at HS with glass windows so that cuts out most of the background noise there
Re: Boreham Wood (A) 30/3/18
I think Solihull will beat Chester and guiseley at home them the pressure will be on ...hope I’m wrong we haven’t enough to win a game
Re: Boreham Wood (A) 30/3/18
What about us beating Chester and Guiseley too?

Re: Boreham Wood (A) 30/3/18
Reason behind that was it was a tight enclosed press area which included the PA announcer as well as general season ticket holders
The commentary team also used open mics which pick up all noise around them.
Reason you can't tell that from our Commentary is because at HS as Jamie already pointed out we are in a press box with windows seperating us from the supporters, we use an atmosphere mic to pick up crowd noise. We also use lip mics to commentate, they cut out all back ground noise around you as you have to talk directly into the mic for them to work.
Regards the game. One of the best defensive displays i have seen from the team this season.
Rode their luck at times but overall a very well battled point and could of knicked it had they had a touch more luck at the other end.
There is a very good possibility that should we and solihull keep picking up points as we are thay Woking could fall into that bottom 4, their supporters certainly think that is the case

Another top day out following the Bluebirds, with a pre-game visit to some of the fine watering holes of St Albans thrown into the mix.
The early start and late return makes for a long day. It's all worthwhile when you witness a decent performance. We did just that we were workman like especially in the second half when Boreham Wood decided to turn the screw, Adrade was instrumental in their best moments but also some of his antics left a lot to be desired. Gomis was in for some rough treatment throughout, yes he is no shrinking violet our Bedsentè but with next to no protection from the ref it threatened to boil over at times and eventually did with Andrade showing his somewhat darker side. The melee settled and I think it was Gomis, Macdonald from Barrow and Murtagh from Boreham Wood that were booked. Andrade got away with it and so thankfully did we as they had a couple of golden opportunities to take the three points.
Special thanks to Jamie who gave up his rights to prematch alcohol (quite often needed to numb the pain) in order to drive us all safely there and back.

Apparently John, Wetherspoons is nominated as the main away fans pub and this is the procedure on match days. Normal service resumes on non match days. Because they're expecting a big crowd at Boreham Wood.
Really? That would be a first.
This place has gone down rapidly in my esteem. From a very low level.

The main away pub? It's the only semi-decent pub anywhere near worth going to.
The non-footballing entertainment was redeemed by a post-match visit to a couple of top notch pubs in St. Albans followed by a curry. Excellent end to the day!
