Heard on the grapevine

Post by BERSATUBOY » Sat Apr 20, 2013 10:04 am

Already gone. Boyes to Gateshead. Baker to Chester. Hunter and Hessey refusing Baylis training regime. Owen not interested in us. Lots of the others not bothered. If all this has any truth we really are in an awful mess.

We have lost better players than these in the past and survived.
The sun is shining and this terrible season is coming to an end so I feel quite upbeat today.

+1.

Why?? they want to remain full-time, we're going part-time.....so what, plenty more out there.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Players come and go but Barrow AFC lives on. I'll be there on my family spot as always.

Surely we all expected most of them to be gone in the close-season anyway?

Not unexpected as most are not happy with Bayliss - full stop.

I just hope the BOD will speak to some of the players to get their opinions before they make a decision about the future.

To be honest, do we really want to know what the majority of these players think or want? The sooner half of them [SwearFilter] off the better.

That's been a problem in quite a few matches recently; the players just haven't been bothered. If they had, we could quite easily have finished outside of the relegation zone.

Get ride of them, and bring in players who have pride in the club .... and in themselves as semi-professional sportsmen.

Couldn't care less about any of them.

This last few months has left a real bitter taste in my mouth in respect of football.

90% of people involved in the professional and semi-professional game are greedy horrible [SwearFilter] and it actually makes me feel a little bit ill that I contribute to feeding them.

Seriously considering packing in with it all because it annoys me way more often than it gives me any kind of pleasure.

It will be interesting watching just how many fans applaud them off at the end !! I'll be more interested in making a dash back to corporate to get my sarnies and crisps before they all go.

Just seems that DB has put all the blame onto the players.

With the right motivation even these players could have got us clear of relegation, and you have to question his ability in man management.

I think we have to stand back and look at it from both sides. It would do no harm to ask some of the better senior players for their views. If they say DB is the man, then fine appoint him again.

There are two sides to every story and IMO we have only heard one side up to now.
