County Court Judgements against club & credit rating cut

Post by John Very Little » Fri Sep 20, 2013 11:44 pm

Following the events of last weekend and the lack of trust in the board I thought I'd do dome digging and have found out that there has been 2 CCJ's (County Court Judgements) made against the club recently.
On 25th July for £1,118 at Northampton County Court (case 3QG65043)
On 6 September for £4,997 at Northampton County Court (case 3QZ01860)
Who was taking us to court?

A CCJ is normally a bill that is contested or unpaid and as a result the club will have to pay the court costs in addition to the above amounts in a specific timeframe which with low crowds is gonna be a serious problem.
The major downside of these judgements is that the clubs credit rating has been cut from 39 down to 13 (100 is good, 0 is bad) which means the club will now struggle to get credit.
This info is available to anyone through the various credit check sites, however I wouldn't have looked for this if the board hadn't behaved the way they did last weekend over the Bayliss incident.

I can understand your feelings towards the present Board but you seem with every post you submit you are hell bent in taking the club down with them

What John is doing is making us aware of what is going on behind the scenes which the BOD are responsible for and are not telling us.

It is the BOD who are dragging us down. Yes they have put money in to stop us sinking in the past but the only reason we got into such a mess in the first place was down to them.

Have a go at the real culprits not John.

Isn't that county court related to tax?

It's a County Court like any other.

There are tax offices in Northampton but also lots of companies and individuals. Could be any reason.

Could it be ex players?

As you only talk about the messenger here and not the message can we take from that that you are happy the bods take our club through the courts and damage the clubs standing in football while suppressing this important info from the fans and the members ?

Well done john for letting us know that info,it seems that some people are happy to let the bod throw away over 6k whilst both the bdf,and gma are trying to raise funds this is not the first time this has happened.I say get rid of the bod now (apart from pete who deserves his chance) before they really do finish this club

Strangely enough £6000 is more or less the amount the club has lost from the drop in attendance in the last two games!
