From the site - Barrow AFC would like to inform the fans of some upcoming changes to ensure that their match day experience is as enjoyable as possible. We ask fans to be responsible and observe the rules so that the club or the fans are not punished for irresponsible people’s actions.
· No entry to the ground is permitted without a match-day ticket. Ticket sales will commence at 12:00 P.M. at the main ticket office on Match day or can be purchased in the week leading up to the match.
· No free re-entry will be permitted after the commencement of the match.

· A new parking lot will be available behind the Ray Wilkie Stand off of Holker Street. A charge of £2 to park will be applied beginning September 5th.

· There will be a zero tolerance policy towards the possessions of flares, smoke bombs, and any other such pyrotechnic articles. Legal action may be taken, civil or criminal, against any person who contravenes current legislation or our Ground/stadium regulations.
· Ground Regulations will be placed at entry points and high traffic areas. It is the responsibility of each visitor to adhere to the Ground Regulations or face disciplinary procedures including ejection and ban.
· A new outdoor marquee bar next to the cross bar will be open to the fans from 2:00 P.M. on match days. Visitors will not be able to leave the marquee with alcohol.
· It is mandatory in The National League that no person can consume alcohol in sight of the pitch so barriers will be set up in locations where alcohol is served to ensure this is the case.

· There is a no-smoking policy at Furness Building Society Stadium that will be enforced
· The Holker street end will be used for away fans when a match requires segregation.

· The club will require a stand transfer for those people that buy a ground ticket and would like to move to the stand. A stand transfer of £1 will be applied to children under 16 and £2 to everyone else.

Question - can you still pay at the gate ? This is rather confusing

Any chance of a TV in the tent? some people like to watch live game before match and get half time scores.

There must surely still be tickets for the turnstile operators to hand out on all gates. If not and people are expected to go to the ticket office then its a recipe for disaster, and for [SwearFilter] people off enough to just turn around and go home.

There is absolutely no chance of everywhere walking round to the office to get a ticket before going in, unless you turn up at 1pm you won't get in the ground till half time on Saturday if so

The club couldn't cope with people having to queue to buy tickets from one ticket office - that's why I asked the question

I THINK it means tickets will be on sale from 12:00 for those wanting to go in the X Bar or marquee for a pre-match drink. Not too clear though.

I've just asked Pete the question via Facebook and he said you can indeed pay on the gate and they give you your ticket as before

Yeah there were quite large queues at the office last season on normal days, knackers people getting in/out of the shop and cross bar too.

Ive always thought it was no smoking anyway as its a public area, i know people do smoke regardless...

Would like clarification about the re-entry after commencement of the match please - I nip to the loo in the xbar after the match starts, can I get back in showing my ticket like usual?
And the away fans get the Holker Street end - wrong.

Its not that hard to be clear, when updating the website, ask yourself, "does this make sense?" The first two points dont make sense and raise a lot of questions

We went to games last time we were in the Premier where you could only get a ticket from a ticket office. Some you could order in advance and were a bit cheaper and were waiting for you when you arrived. I think Wrexham was one place.
The no smoking needs clarification as it was only in the stand where you weren't allowed to smoke. Mind you having to sweep all the fag ends up after a game makes you wish that rule was in force everywhere. Enforcing that will be difficult if it is ground wise.
No mention of the show a ticket before you can go in the xbar then. I wonder if that was meant for the beer tent and there had been a mix up with the instructions. Seems a bit strange if it is the xbar.

I messaged Pete after putting it on the forum and he answered my question within 5 minutes - I am sure he will answer any questions people have - I was concerned about the ticket thing but he has told me it is as it was you can buy tickets from the gate you enter and then enter.

I accept it would be better if people could call the club / email and get an answer -
