+1 with NWA. Like you said Edmo wouldn't.If Edmo wanted him back wouldn't he have got him at the start of the season.

Liked NWA so it's a yes from me, he came in to the side and really took his chance well before the Leamington injury and it would be good to see how he copes at the next level. But Ashton has been steady after an indifferent start, still struggles a bit against raw pace but would take some shifting at the minute.

I thought NWA was great when he was with us but I think we should stick to players that are our own and give them the time to settle into the team. It won't do the confidence much good if we are bringing loanees in when players are fit to play.

Pretty much agree with all of that Elaine. He did very well for us but no point at all in bringing in loanee's & even think about dropping players who have and are doing well for us.

Good luck to Nick though, I'm sure he will have a good career in front of him.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Scott Maxfield is assistant player manager at Matlock Town - with Mark Hume as manager and they have a couple of ex Barrow players Ted Cribley and Craig Nelphorpe

I used to enjoy trips to Matlock - if I remember rightly could be wrong Graham Heathcotes first game as Manager was away at Matlock following our relegation the previous season - can't remember the year tho 1992 ?

No, if we have the budget to bring in a decent loan player I'd be looking at other positions first
