Steven Casson will shortly be leaving LA14-land to return to the USA as he and his partner are expecting a baby, and Paul Casson's asked me to distribute the job description for the position of Commercial Development Manager at Barrow AFC.

The successful candidate would also be a leading participant in the team driving the stadium redevelopment activities.

John Spoor did a decent job for the rugby. We could do, and have done in the past, a lot worse.

Great job for somebody, especially with the club in a financial stable position - I took Steven to a networking event last week on the West Coast, didn't realise he was leaving, massive opportunities to engage with Businesses coming into the area!

This role is very important to the club & we really need a quality person appointed, maybe even paying 10/15% over the odds to secure the right person for the job & or bonuses based on results, As any Sales/Marketing types have the confidence to back themselves or they are in the wrong industry.

Interesting to see the background of however gets the gig.
