Quick Family Day Questions

Post by barrowaberdeen » Wed Apr 06, 2016 9:15 am

Trying to persuade Mrs BA and son to let me take my 4 year old Grandson to the football on Saturday. Are these free tickets (not sure he got one at his Nursery) available at the club? I know he's only a quid or so anyway but trying to 'sell' the activity

I'll get hold of one for you Steve. Are you at the Q&A on Friday? if not I'll drop it off at your house.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Good effort both of you.

Cheers Ian, away back up to work in a mo and then Tynecastle to see Aberdeen on Friday night, so won't be back till Saturday lunchtime.

I'll PM the number cheers, just stick it through the door. ;)

If I invite everyone it'll cost me a bomb!

Edit, am nipping down to buy the adult tickets and will get one then, then Mrs BA won't be able to back out :D

Hope the club promote this a bit more before Saturday - the announcement last night made me chuckle - come early events happening from 2.30pm - should be stuff from lunchtime whilst mum and dad spends money in the crossbar

Wouldn't be so bad if those at the club did some research and found out why people don't attend.

Send someone round Asda and Tesco on a match day and ask people why they aren't at the game. You can't combat the low crowds if it's not understood why people don't attend.

Sure the newly appointed commercial development manager will be looking into all this to increase crowds and increase sponsorship opportunities around town and local area

Nipped down, tickets got no problem at all, great stuff. And it's already meant one adult who wouldn't normally go to Barrow will be there.

I'll be ignoring the 'designated family area' we are meant to go to on the ticket mind.

Sense, this should be done &?on a ongoing basis, Recruit well and we should hold the crowds then ramp up the Supporters drive.

We usually get 1800/2k for our opening fixtures, if we start well we could hold this then build upon it.
