Rochdale forum

Post by olbarrafancumbak » Tue Dec 20, 2016 10:05 am

Just has a sneaky peaky at their forum and it looks as though they will sell their allocation of tickets and its great to see that they are as excited as we are about this game!! Also great to see that they are showing a little respect toward us too, no pish taking or talking us down..at this point!!

Holker Street will be rocking an I cant wait..

To any Rochdale fans visiting the forum, I hope you enjoy your time in our backyard and may the best team win!

I hope its ferocious on the pitch, and the atmosphere is intimidating for the opposition, but in the best way.
At a few home games this year, when the announcement about the number of away fans that have attended HS has been made towards the end of the game, there has been resounding applause from Barrow fans for those who have made the trip to Cumbria.
It says a lot about Barrow, and I hope it continues.

Looks like they've sold half their allocation already (including all of the seats) reading their forum.
For those who want a look here's the link http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/members/rochdale/forum/

Also states on the Rochdale forum that the Barrow v Rochdale match is being shown live on eir Sports 2.
Programme starts at 2-50pm.
Sutton v Wimbledon is live on eir Sports 1.

Plenty on there panicking about the prospect of not getting a ticket & the usual ST & Half season ST holders vs Non ST holders debates.

Plenty of Non ST holders offering to pay above the odds for a ticket....Should be a brilliant atmosphere on the day.

Just as well he wasnt born in Rochdale then .

Plenty on our site going to miss out on tickets with only around 275 left and still open only to ST holders. Also not seen any posts thinking this game is going to be easy ,quite the opposite in fact.

Yes. It's a shame we've only been allocated 670ish. The lack of seats will put a fair few of our older fans off from attending. We generally take upwards of 1000 to the likes of Fleetwood and Morecambe in the league so if it were possible I think we'd have brought about 1500 for this tie which is generating much interest as it's a complete leap into the unknown with potential rich rewards for the victor.

Looking forward to it.

Not really re allocation, your a bigger club than us but not that much tbh. It's Rochdale not Manchester. I've been to Spotland a few times and seen the away support at places in League 2 so am a bit dubious about 1000 at Fleetwood or anywhere frankly ...

But to be fair not one of your fans anywhere have tried to Billy Bigtime it. You absolutely strolled past a Carlisle side going well and your manager is as good as anyone in the lower two leagues. Difference is we won't attempt to match your way of playing, which apparently Carlisle did. We will do our own thing, which will give us a punchers chance at home no question.
