I don't think it's going down the pan, we are in the best position potentially in my lifetime, but if things aren't as easy as the owner though then he should tell us.
If we are all wrong and everything's grea then he should also tell us.

The next move is critical for us, when we finally appoint a new manager in we either need to make a statement of intent by backing him (financially and vocally) or PC needs to hold his hands up and admit that the budget is being scaled back.

The fact that work on the ground is still happening; slowly but happening nonetheless, tells me that PC is serious about moving Barrow AFC forward. I really want to believe that the budget has gone up 30% or whatever it was and that it was down to Paul Cox poor use of that for the reason as to why things seem to be going backwards.

Stop making claims that we want promotion etc if you aren't prepared to fund it to the point required. Stop putting unnecessary pressure on staff/players to get results with aforementioned statements and get some people with the knowhow of the business side of football on board to bring some fresh ideas in developing the club more.

The fact that this thread is on here and being debated by us does suggest that we need an honest assessment from Paul Casson so we know where we stand. We have had typically low expectations in the past and been over the moon with sides achieving much less than last season's squad managed. The overhype is raising expectations to an unrealistic level that can't happen if it isn't funded.

Finally, get a proper manager appointed (Not Moore and preferably before the Torquay game) and let him run the playing side of things. PC has had it good since he took control; that support/confidence is dwindling by the day so now he needs to step up.
