Football league aims

Yet again we read about our goal of the football league.
But are we really serious as a club?
Take the sale of 3 of our best players surely if we wanted to go up we would have made their buyout clauses much higher !
That said the money we made from their sales should have gone on the present squad it obviously hasn't!
Playing side apart what about the ground it's not fit for the National league never mind the football league!
Fan Base this needs to be expanded to survive but at the present we seem to be alienating them.
We need a structured plan if we are serious not empty retorhic!

After today's events it seems the goalposts have moved. No objective for new manager. No expectations at all really. Another promise of wait till January....look what occurred last time.
Now they diss the squad as not good enough.

The Cassons have not got a clue it's total chaos on and off the park, the structure of the club is to pot off the field, absolutely no idea at all how to run a football club and won't bring in someone with experience to do so instead just employee his son who has zero experience. Time to get used the the fact he's chatted utter bollox since arriving and has fooled a few with making us dream of us being football league and a ground to be proud of......has he even been in barrow recently to interview potential new managers? I'm guessing no.....

If I offered to take my wife to a plush Lake District hotel for her birthday but ended up in Macdonalds she would moan I'd taken the cheap easy option!!! But I'd spent money on her...... just no where near enough!!! £2million is peanuts in this league and I think Casson has realised it takes a lot more than that!!! Plus as stated above has he really spent £2m after all that's gone on??? I'm looking forward to seeing the design plans for the Cross Bar end, I'm expecting similar to AFC Flydes main stand, sustainable bar, restaurant, ticket office , office areas etc be interesting to see......

Comes down to the fact that most on here are of the opinion that not enough money is being spent and things are not happening fast enough off the pitch. Well if it was my money being spent on the club these people would be making me think why bother?
Like it or not MM has the job and so let's give him a chance. He has been given leave to hire an assistant and 1 other plus 3 players. That is new 5 salaries to pay, cheap? I don't think so.
OK we have had a bad start to the season and the club have reacted to this and so we can only have patience to see what develops.

Its not a case of not enough money being spent. I think a lot has been spent. Its just not being spent on things that will progress the club forward.

It worked well last season making investments into the side with a decent manager. Now the manager and players have gone and its looking unlikely that any of the current crop will be progressing. Part of the success story around Bennett, Anderton and Williams was down to having a great exposure in a side performing well at the top half of the league.
I don't think there will be many interested in any of the Bayliss like signings brought in by Cox or Ogden (depending on which official statement you read).

December last year everything was rosy with a good squad top of the table FA Cup 3rd round to look forward to and it looked like the club was on target to reach the owners ambitions (whatever they may be). Unfortunately thats all gone now and its back to square one. Take away the transfer fees from last season, and ask yourself are we really in a better position now than we were shortly after Edmo failed his 5 point Strakergram and got booted?

Comes down to what the plan is for the next 5 years. What is the plan? What is being put in place to help the plan reach its target?, Is there a plan B if after 5 years it hasn't been met? , What can the fans do to assist in the plan other than just be expected to turn up and spend money on match days?

Throwing money at it and hoping it works out in the end is extremely dangerous. The clubs losing fans, its lost a very good manager, its lost its better players, and seemingly its lost its way.
