Well Who Should It Be?

Post by McMark » Tue Mar 19, 2019 10:55 am

No doubt we will be voting on this in some shape or form sometime soon. But there have been a few improved performers from last season along with one or two notable additions.
Jason Taylor would probably get my vote at present. But Dan Jones and Joel Dixon have been at the top of their game most of the season, Jack Barthram, Josh Kay and Rhys Norington-Davies also and who can forget the impact of Tyler Smith during his stay. Josh Granite would be in there also but for injury, Jack Hindle may yet come into the equation for some of you, and you may think others may be worthy. Some difficult choices for a change in what for me has been a thoroughly enjoyable season whatever the final outcome may be.

Was thinking about this myself earlier and Joel Dixon for me but there are about 3 or 5 players in contention.

There have been several good performances this season from many players, only one winner Jason Taylor, absolutely immense all season, when suspended we looked leaderless.

Taylor has been a big plus this season and will be a choice for many and would be a worthy winner.
Honourable mentions for Dixon, Jones, Hindle, Kay, Norrington Davies, and Tyler Smith.
In fact there's probably far more positives than negatives. with only Brown and Molynioux of those who have been fit all season disappointing. Of the injured ones Wilson is likely to go i think - but unsure on Elsden and even Blyth.

The squad collectively has exceeded mine and i expect many others expectations this season. They have performed admiredbly and have been a joy to watch. One player has been consistently performing to a high level week in week out that player is Jason Taylor

Last season it was hard to pick anyone for all the wrong reasons. This season it’ll be hard to pick one for all the right reasons.

I’d give the whole team an award.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

I sent my NSC vote in this morning - Taylor, Dixon and RND, based on what I’ve seen this season.

Taylor is the only possible winner. He has carried this whole team at times.

My favourite player this season has been Norrington-Davies.
Best player has been Taylor, massive difference in the games he doesn’t play in

A great young side with players who always give their all. Dixon, Taylor, Jones & Barthram have been the consitently good performers for me. Taylor though has had a fantastic season.
