Yeovil fans coach

It seems a coach with Yeovil fans has broken down 34 miles outside of Preston with engine trouble.

Hope they get it sorted and get there in time for the kick-off. A bloody long way to travel not to see the game.

Still having problems seems they may not arrive till half time, hope our club don't charge them to come in the ground if that's the case.

Arrived at half time just in time to see their side go behind.

I remember something similar happening to the Barrow team bus for an away match at Yeovil
By coincidence 28 years to the day on 17th August 1991

Game kicked about an hour late if I remember correctly

That would be the game that those of us who were at the ground, having taken the waters (or ciders? ;) ) in the town centre, were sitting in the blazing sunshine at Huish Park wondering when the game would start, if at all.
