Ridiculous
Re: Fanzone and bar
Fanzone was cashless for the Croatian Euros game, no one raised an issue then, as the song goes “it’s a sign of the times” . Kids can still use cash at the refreshment kiosks around the ground

Re: Fanzone and bar
I may well have misinterpreted what has been mentioned on the 'cashless' thread. However, not knowing the lay-out of the new facility, will it be possible to be in the fanzone without a match-day ticket? Or have I totally got this wrong? Someone has put about buying a ticket for the game from the fanzone kiosk.

Yes fanzone is considered outside the ground until kick off. Then anyone without a ticket will need to buy one or leave.mulholland wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 5:57 pm I may well have misinterpreted what has been mentioned on the 'cashless' thread. After that's complete the "outer" gates shut and the "inner" gates open and it becomes a part of the ground.
After the game once the terrace and stands are emptied, the gates shut and the Fanzone reverts to being outside the ground again.
That's my understanding of the proposal that was approved by the Safety Group.

Re: Fanzone and bar
Thanks for clearing that matter up. Nothing there that could possibly go wrong is there? Personally, and it really is a personal view as like I have stated I've no idea of the lay-out, I would've thought it would be accessible from once you're inside the ground only.JammyBluebird wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 6:04 pmYes fanzone is considered outside the ground until kick off. Outside the ground is best. This allows fans to meet and come and go prior to kick off. I would imagine there will be a kicking out time though, or stop serving at a set time prior to kick off.mulholland wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 8:27 pmThanks for clearing that matter up. And who's going to police that if you have a big group of people?Jonty wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 8:33 pmOutside the ground is best. This allows fans to meet and come and go prior to kick off. Lets hope the security and stewards are there and you don't have loads walking in for free and not paying. Also any update on the draught so I can decide wether to use the zone or drink elsewhere. I certainly wont be drinking bottled beer not for me.bluessupporter wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 8:36 pmAnd who's going to police that if you have a big group of people?
All opinions expressed are my own , not here to cause kick off just enact debate.
