Turnstile delays?
Turnstile delays?
I have a ticket for the Holker end for tomorrow's game, first League game I've been to since Hartlepool at the start of the season. I was there quite early for that game, but noticed that later on there was a long slow moving queue to get in the Holker End. I presume this was down to teething problems with electronic scanning of tickets. Has this situation improved at all, or is it still advisable to get there early?

Re: Turnstile delays?
I was a bit late getting in for the Hartlepool game at the Holker St turnstile.
It’s been fine since then.

Re: Turnstile delays?
Can you use the turnstiles for the popular side then move round to the Holker St end?
Just say no to VAR
Re: Turnstile delays?
Providing all scanners are working correctly, all turnstiles are open, and they've oiled the old things, then I wouldn't anticipate any issues with queues. I don't stand over there but I would hazard a guess that you can use the Popular Side turnstiles and walk through to the Holker Street End. ...I just cant get used to people saying Holker End.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Definitely worth using the pop side turnstiles, the Fanzone ones are a bit of a nightmare. Even if you are in the Fanzone for a pint it’s worth walking back to the pop side to get in.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Have you had bother Ian?
I always use the fanzone turnstiles and haven’t had to wait longer than the time it takes to get a few folk clicked through.

Not “bother” as such Dave, I used the fanzone turnstiles a couple of times but since then I’ve found it easier to walk around to the pop side turnstiles as they seem to be slightly quicker and less busy.Lancaster Branch wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 8:06 pm Have you had bother Ian?

You keep using the fanzone and don’t clog up my pop side

How could you see the long queue later on, if you were in the ground.xerxes wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 4:29 pm I have a ticket for the Holker end for tomorrow's game, first League game I've been to since Hartlepool at the start of the season.
