Really liked his interview.He sounded really honest and knew where he wants to take Barrow as a club.I think we were very fortunate to get him.It,s taken us two false dawns,but hopefully this time the club has got it right.A really nice guy with no edge.

What I like, and I know he has said it before, is that the first criteria for a player to come to Barrow is that they are a good person. Their footballing ability comes second.

A bad apple can destroy a dressing room and a team, so a great philosophy. :)

Agree the good person criteria. It’s a term a number of managers use these days when looking for players. IIRC Ian Evatt used that phrase when here and I’ve heard Paul Simpson use it too in recent weeks.
