So is that the last option in the Greater Manchester area then? Have we done them all now?

Liverpool, Warrington - you’re next.

It would be nice for Manchester-based fans to receive discount on tickets/club shop for contributing towards the upkeep of this facility x

Barrow AFC are delighted to announce an agreement with Northern Premier League side FC United of Manchester, to share the use of their council owned facility as our training base for the foreseeable future, effective immediately

Maybe the article caused undue stress to someone and it was removed.

Not the first time it’s happened
Many people will remember the #NotYet era at the club.
Someone has obviously jumped the gun in posting and has thus deleted it

I thought we had a multi year deal at de la salle. What’s happened there? They were raving about the place a few months back.
WOULD YOU LIKE A MINSTREL??????

Wasn’t this De La Selle supposed to be a long term partnership and investment in that facility.

Obviously just a dress rehearsal for Kersal. Think it was home to Man U’s academy too.

No it wasn’t a dress rehearsal for anything. It was showcased as finally getting a secure and long term training base to develop in partnership. In fact the club were delighted with the location. We need a training pitch to be as good as the pitches we play on week in week out and that won’t be cheap to maintain and will get some hammer in any shared use. Maybe the case for bringing training to Barrow gets stronger but how do you get players to travel.
