BarrowAFC.net as some of the more seasoned members will remember was set up by myself in 2008 on a very quick turnaround following the sudden closure of the old unofficial forum - I was just 16 years old when I started running it! As of 28th May, the website will have been running for 16 years, and still recieves on average 95,000 unique users every month visiting over half a million pages a month. The increased server and hosting costs to maintain a website like this can sometimes put them at risk of being closed down or requiring community support, but Winders have kindly once again sponsored the hosting and maintenance of the website for the next 3 years ensuring you free and unlimited access to discuss, debate, argue and laugh with like minded supporters over all things Barrow AFC.

Obviously not everyone has use for a financial advisor or chartered accountant, but please if you do by any chance require such services, consider contacting Winders

Yeah cheers guys for what must be a usually thankless task - it is appreciated. The Forum has served to keep morale up through some heavy weather at times and provided a platform for real progress e.g. the GMV, Trust, charity appeals, Ultras etc. as well as hosting a broad range of us gobshites, gasbags, fiction writers, WUMs and the Barrow football intelligentsia.
