Barrow squad 2002

Post by Jim » Sat Dec 14, 2024 11:39 am

I was sorting through some photos from an old camera and came across some photos from our 2002 season. I think they were Frickley and Bradford Park Avenue. The away support at Bradford is a reminder of how far we have come in just over 20 years!

Come on, Jim, you can't do that and not tell us the names (top photo that is, let you off with the bottom one).

I should know them all but there's two or three I'm struggling to call (mostly towards the back left). The one third from right, back row . . . is that Mark Salmon? He looks like a kid there, but what a player he was! I never understood what he was doing down at that level.

I will have a go:

Backrow L-R: Anthony Hall, Ward, Neil Tarrant?, Bennett, Mark 'love him or hate him' Hume, Steve Gaughan, Mark Salmon, Lee Warren, Lee Turnbull

Front: Lee Rogers, Graham Anthony, Steve Housham, Scott Maxfield

Definitely short of strikers there! ;)
