What actually happened to him i don’t recall him getting injured?

According to AW Vassell is injured and on the way to recovery.

Think he might bring Campbell on and take Smith off because we need to strengthen in the midfield, Newby had a decent half along with Sam Foley.

Battling well, got into a few good positions but the final ball has let us down.
