Bromley
Barrow on the beach, Bromley a very very outside chance of the playoffs but do bring the leagues top scorer in Cheek to Holker Street. Hard to get motivated for this one and wouldn't blame anyone for not attending. Probably another 0-0
Re: Bromley
I'm a season ticket holder so I will attend but I'm taking something to read. If the seats were a bit more comfortable I could have a snooze
Just say no to VAR

Re: Bromley
It’s a dead rubber game but I would sooner be in our position than the supporters of those fighting relegation and all the nerves and anxieties that brings. A mid table finish and another guaranteed season in the EFL is just fine by me

Re: Bromley
Hopefully not another 0-0 but can see a very low attendance for this probably around 2,300, just hope we do better next Season or attendances will only go one way.

Re: Bromley
If we were fighting relegation attendances would be higher. It’s the fact we have nothing to play for that’s resulting in the attendance drop offbehind the goals wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 10:16 am Hopefully not another 0-0 but can see a very low attendance for this probably around 2,300, just hope we do better next Season or attendances will only go one way.

Re: Bromley
Yes. Will probably be the lowest league gate of the season. It can’t be the poorest having watched that dreadful wrist slitting performance at home to Harrogate.
At the same time like others, I appreciate what this squad has done since Andy Whing arrived. Will never take anything for granted. Team will be broken up in a couple of weeks so time to say thanks and goodbye to some of them.

Re: Bromley
Noooooo! don't say this, I always get to the last home game of the season. I'm hoping for a cracking, end-to-end, edge-of-the seat (even though I stand) encounter with goals galore and a last minute winner to give us 3 points as we surge into the top half of the table. We all go home happy asking when does the new season start.
Don't let the old man in.

Re: Bromley
I wonder if Farman will get a start on what could be his last home game for Barrow.

Re: Bromley
I take your point but sentiment shouldn't come into it. Whing should pick who he thinks is the best for that position.YorkshireBlue wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 11:07 am I wonder if Farman will get a start on what could be his last home game for Barrow.
Perhaps put Farman on the bench and give him a runout for the last 10-15 minutes, if we are winning.

I think there will be a few that will be taking their final applause. Some good servants to the club leaving.YorkshireBlue wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 11:07 am I wonder if Farman will get a start on what could be his last home game for Barrow.
But Farman, Gotts & Foley all with over 125 appearances each certainly deserve a bit of their own send off should that be a sub on or off in front of the home crowd.

Hopefully at the very least comes on; some players leaving this time who’ve done very well for us and deserve a proper send offYorkshireBlue wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 11:07 am I wonder if Farman will get a start on what could be his last home game for Barrow.

surely now is the time to throw caution to wind and try to entertain for a change, just go for it

Re: Bromley
So much negativity. I know the last two games haven’t been riveting, but don’t run the Club down by already surmising that the crowd numbers will be down. Anyone who might want to attend could change their minds after reading these posts.
Turn up and cheer the players and management team, for a good season. Some brilliant wins and some great games. They deserve a good send off and the Club needs your cash.

Whing has confirmed to the local paper that Farman will play 1 of the last two.
