Third kits

I picked up a third kit on Saturday, which got me thinking about the 2020/21 third kit as I also have one of those.

I might have misremembered but it seemed to be launched mid season. I'm sure that you had to pre-order it and they weren't on general sale.

I can only remember it being used in one game, where we lost 1-0 to Southend who were supposed to be basket cases at the time.

Does anyone else have one of these, and am I right in my recollection it was only worn in the Southend match.

Can’t help you with your question but judging by some of the shockers we've had recently it would be great if the club could get some input to the designs and colours before choosing next season’s kits. Maybe through the Trust get some fan views?

I would imagine they are already ordered (or hope so anyway!)

Probably one of the best selling shirts as well as the gold ones.. Everyone loves a ‘collectable’ one off shirt.

I wouldn't have thought so, some ideas have probably been submitted but I wouldn’t have thought a final decision has been made just yet on change / third kits. The club will have figures on shirt sales last few seasons and will know what has been more popular. That should direct the decision making. That green kit is a shocker, (imo).

I still don't get the need for a third kit and I notice that in recent games it's been ditched and the home/first kit worn when there's been a clash in away fixtures.

Maybe so but IIRC it came about by a public poll with some input from fans of The Rugby which hinted at my point.
