Congratulations to Paul Farman on an outstanding career at Barrow. He hands the baton over to a very promising successor in Will Stanway. Farms one of the best : great saves, great memories and an outstanding professional. Thank you Paul & best wishes for the future .

Paul Farman has been outstanding and will always be remembered as a great Barrow player.

I am confident that Wyll Stanway will step into his shoes and be a worthy successor.

All the best farms. Class keeper, had a mistake in him but could also win us games. The most consistent in a rather turbulent return to the football league. Best keeper I’ve seen in my lifetime of watching barrow, all the best 👍

Gutted we couldn’t give him a proper farewell but that’s football I guess.

Sounds like it was the clubs decision. But maybe Farman wanted the no.1 shirt to stay which Barrow couldn't offer? .. Either way, he's been excellent for us and wish him well at his next club.

Have a feeling we will come up against him next season as he will definitely get interest from L2 clubs

It was suggested on Radio Cumbria he is going to another L2 club as I understood it.

And the one against Derby last August got us to Stamford Bridge!

I was at Port Vale just a few weeks ago and his performance was outstanding - and, as it turns out, his last one for us.

Our best keeper in our recent history and a great character too - thanks Farms.

Been a very steady pair of hands in goals since signing for us, a very capable keeper at this level.

All the very best for your future career Paul & thanks for the memories.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Paul Farman has been a fantastic signing for us both on and off the field. Four very good seasons the consummate professional and in the top 5 keepers in league 2 IMO.
Somebody is going to make an excellent signing and I thank him and wish him all the best.
