Pre-season friendlies
The new season is just around the corner (oh no, we haven't signed anyone yet) and pre-season games are being lined up:
5th July - Holker OB (Rakesmoor Lane)
12th July - Lancaster City (Giant Axe)
19th July - Tamworth (The Lamb Ground)

Don't let the old man in.
Re: Pre-season friendlies
Jeez, has over ten years passed since we last went to Tamworth.

Here's hoping that we manage to negotiate a couple of crowd-pulling, tasty home friendlies against higher league opposition.

Pity Ian Evatt is not still in charge. That might have put a few on the gate.BarrowHarry wrote: ↑Tue May 20, 2025 3:33 pm We’ll face Bolton Wanderers at home on Tuesday the 15th of July

Surprised we're playing at Tamworth isn't it a synthetic surface? If so chance of early season injuries

Be careful of mocking clubs that are currently non-league, what goes around comes aroundbluessupporter wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 8:44 pmBe careful what you wish for. We could lose to both of them!![]()

I am quite aware of that and it's sarcasm.bluessupporter wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 8:44 pmBe careful what you wish for. We could lose to both of them!![]()
I've followed them before as a apprentice I saw the vote was tied with Hereford in the mail stop press on back page and hurried to find what the second vote was.
If we go down it will be because we deserve it not because of deals done in a smoke filled room.
As a long term supporter I don't think of Barrow as a big club ,but in moments of time it's not money but the team spirit that's got us through.
We have seen it with Ray Wilkes, two Dave's,Shane Westley etc.
If Barrow fail to stay up anytime will still follow them.
Supporting a club unlike a Wife is for life.
