Current forecasts are estimating between 0oC and -2oC overnight tonight.

We should be above 0oC by around 9-10am.

By kick off, we’re looking at around 3oC, -2oC with windchill factored in, and a chance of sleet.

If we go ahead, big coat needed!

Be a shame if it’s off; they’ll be far stronger at any rearranged game once Evans has splashed the cash

The match won’t be off. The covers are on and it’s not been as cold in Barrow with it being near the coast as other parts of the country. Seriously this game will definitely go ahead.

We've had Referee's be quite pedantic about this sort of thing in the past though haven't we? I'm thinking about that one who took exception to a tea towel sized patch at the Holker End that time much to the disbelief of both clubs' players and staff. Ref's get paid the same whether the game is on or off.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

There was Sam Barrett in a league game against Salford for a minute piece of frozen pitch on popular side
A ridiculous decision imo
The very same Sam Barrett who is now a top flight ref in the Premier league 😳😳

The frost appears to have been much worse last night than forecast. It's currently minus 7 outside. That must cast a serious doubt to the game goes ahead today IMO.
