Playing 2 kids at the back (1 of which I feel sorry for but hes been chucked in a scrap and isn't good enough) a keeper whos bang average and slows our game right down esp today. Our missing players would make a hell of a difference!!!

Just watched the highlights and guess what ? Not a single effort from Barrow. How the officials have missed that leg breaker is utter shocking and that needs reporting to the league (won't change result but he was pathetic)
Goal conceded was just typical of us this season. Zero effort to clear it then when it lands in the box 2 players stood right by the lad who turns snd shoots !

I thought we had defended well as a team unit all game, players were putting in challenges and winning second balls. That’s from the front - Josh Gordon’s defensive duties were immense yesterday and he was a worthy MoM for us. There was one in the second half and he wasn't event the closest Barrow player to the Gills player with the ball and he came back 10 yards into midfield (close to the Pop Side) to make a challenge and won the ball. You cannot question the commitment.
The goal was horrible how it happened, but have shot in a crowded area and it might fall your way. This is what frustrates me more than anything about our side, we have no one who will take a shot from the edge of the box through a crowd of players. We are not making enough of any opportunities just outside the box to get a a shot away. To not force a single save from their keeper concerns me more than anything.

We're 11/4 to get relegated right now. How we're not amongst the favourites, or outright favourite baffles me especially after yesterday's performance.
Yes Josh Gordon undoubtedly works hard every game, but he lacks any kind of quality on the very rare occasion we manage to work the ball into the oppositions half.
He's not alone I know, goes for the job-lot of them. McCann can't get the ball over or around the wall from a promising free-kick position, Jackson fails to beat the first defender from a corner when our momentum was flickering into life. And the team, as a whole, do not communicate anywhere near enough when the balls in play.
To cap it all our new/new/new guy in charge puts the pirouetteing-pony-Mahoney on in front of Newby, who for all his failings in front of goal, would imo anyway, been a useful substitution yesterday.
The list of inadequacies from the very top, to the very bottom of our treasured club's shambolic 25/26 season will go down as a roll-call of retribution once the ink's dry in the history book of the (potentially) last ever season in the football league for Barrow AFC.

Lets hope this ‘team’ do go for it and Dino can wring some kind of endeavour and fight from them. Most of us who go to the games have seen the very lack lustre nonsense they dish up to us. I think we have to encourage and support these players to somehow keep us in the ELF this season and then we can wave them bye bye for ever.
