Re: Daily Express

Also in the 60s / early 70s it took at least an hour to get from Barrow to the A6 at Levens Bridge - and much longer if you were stuck behind a caravan or a Brady's lorry. Getting past the Dolly Blue works at Backbarrow could also be a nightmare at times.

Re: Behind closed doors

It would be better if people made a donation to the Trust, rather than buy a ticket, so that all your money goes to the benefit of Barrow AFC. If you buy a match ticket for (say) £12.00, the club gets £10.00 with £2.00 going to HMRC as VAT. Our need is greater than that of the Chancellor of the Exch...

Re: Behind closed doors

If it was the match that could see Barrow return to the Football League, then yes, fans would turn up, even if only to soak up the atmosphere outside the ground, home or away. I certainly would.

Re: Holker End.

By the time the planning application is approved - assuming that it is - we should have a better idea of the effect that the corona virus and matches being cancelled has had on our finances. And of course the situation re promotion and relegation issues if the current season is not completed.

Re: Ticket Sales/Refunds

We can also help by buying one of the programmes which will have been printed. Can't have them going to waste. Programmes can indeed be used for the rearranged game when - and if - it takes place, but not the catering supplies which will largely be wasted. If I send the money, could someone put a c...

Depends when the four people concerned tested positive, I suppose.

Re: Ticket Sales/Refunds

Realise not everyone can do this but I have bought online tickets for the last few games. If the games are cancelled the club are welcome to keep the money. Likewise. Whatever the NL board decide (and we should know in a couple of hours), it is up to us supporters to rally round and help the club's...
