Re: John Woods
Another one who didn’t know him personally but found him a huge part of this forum, one of those who’s posts you would always read. RIP As of yesterday, he'd made more than 2% of all posts here: he really has been a huge part of the community of this forum and will be missed even by those of us who...

Re: Student's looking for a helping hand
I'm not usually so pedantic when reading posts on here but this has been written by a student on a Degree course! :? Where did they say it was an English course? I did a Computer Science degree, but that doesn't mean I can spell. In fact, it was while at University that I accepted I'd never be able...

Re: rockdale fans
Seemed like a decent bunch to me: of course, we didn't get the chance to see them in an uglier mood if they'd lost, but all the ones I ran into seemed pretty good natured - just enjoying a day out to a new ground.

Re: Full House?
However, I really think you'd struggle in League 2 if you get there, and you'd need to re-think the away situation as there are several L2 clubs who, on their day, could fill that bit twice over, as we would have done if permitted, and we're one of the worst supported clubs in the league. That's a ...

Re: BAFC V Rochdale.
You could definitely physically fit more people in - but the capacity is set on things like the percentage of the ground that's covered, the number of exits and crush barriers etc.walney rock wrote:No way is HS a sell out could deffo fit way more in

Re: Christmas Food Bank Appeal 2016
Thanks for that Derek - keep up the good work and I will make a point of going to the Bapstist Church and making a cash donation for the Foodbank. I find it dismaying that people are having to use such facilities in this day and age in a town that seems to all intents and purposes relatively prospe...

Re: FAC tickets (Rochdale)
I've got plenty of food at home, I just love crap burgers with a massive pile of ketchup and onions.
Might stop off at a bakery for a Meat and Potato (Or Potato and Meat as it's usually sold these days) on the way, though: I don't fancy those queues.

Re: Bluebirds Trust AGM
So all is ok because it's getting paid back. Genuine question: what would you rather do? My own thoughts: Pushing it through the civil courts is pointless... all they can do is order the money to be repaid. It already is being repaid, so that's just a waste of time and money. Assuming the courts fo...

Re: Bluebirds Trust AGM
A very professional post Puffing Ron. One question remains. What was the cash supposedly claimed to have been spent on? That's my main question in all of this. I know that there was no proper accounting done (with receipts etc) for the withdrawals: but I can't see myself ever making 17 withdrawals ...

Nonsense. The board are there to run the trust: that's the idea. They don't have to run everything by the members. The Real Slim a former member of this forum wrote:How was the decision made without the trust members being consulted first?
Someone needs to resign
The person who was originally involved is no longer involved with the board.
