Still no Spence!! We’re all Doomed.

Pete Wild has indicated that there could be two outgoings dependent on bringing in additional signings, with the acquisition of Emile Acquah I think one will be a forward and the other possibly a midfielder. My guess would be Richie Bennett and either Steve Foley or Elliot Newby.

Whoops forgot about the Oldham friendly, can see the Oldham manager being asked to remove Josh from the field of play before he’s carded!!!

Why?

Looking at the photos posted on Twitter, the only player I could not see was Robbie Gotts. Is he just camera shy or has he got a pre-season injury already. Also, there was one player who I didn’t recognise, any clue who he maybe? He was in the group photo stood in front of Pete Wild & next to Du...

He doesn’t even make the squad tonight even with10 changes. I’ve not seen him at any of the home games in the pre-match warm ups, looks to have been frozen out.

What's happened to him, still being shown on the club website as a player but not been near any of this seasons team sheets.

I’m not 100% sure but I think the goalkeeper is Mike Heys & the other player is Jack Bennion.

I believe it was Jake Taylor 23yr old midfielder from Port Vale, but he decided to sign for Morecambe instead.
Had come through the youth ranks at Man Utd so probably had links with our assistant manager.

Looked OK in the first two-thirds of the pitch but toothless in the final third.
Josh Gordon is the new Luke James.
Stating the obvious but we need a goal scorer .
I'm sure MC will sort it out.

Still lacking a creative midfielder & another Forward.

Jamille Matt from FGR will fit the bill

I heard that Quigley's absence is due to him coming into contact with someone with COVID, meaning he has to self-isolate for 10 days.
That would explain his no show at HOB & training in Scotland.

People seem to have overlooked/not noticed that Mike Jones also seems to be absent from the picture at the Largs training facility. Of the four contracted players missing from the Holker Old Boys game, both Bobby Burns & James Jones are in attendance in Scotland. If I remember correctly, when MC...

Looks like these early cup fixtures are going to do us & Quig's a favour, it means he's only going to miss 1 league game and not 3 as was originally thought.
