I don't get the bit on the web site where it says the snow will now be left on the pitch for insulation below a photograph of the snow having been cleared from the pitch. Have they put it all back again? :o

Aforementioned friend's parents have just arrived back in Barrow after dropping him off. It's still absolutely fine, not even slow going, never mind treacherous.

Also, I can't be the only one who remembers having a wee in the snow at the side of the A69 on the way back from Sunderland. It didn't seem to stop us. The A69 is dead straight for 90% of it's length, there's nothing to crash into.

I thought it was just an excuse for teachers to have a day off school? [SwearFilter] knows what would happen if I tried to tell my boss I wasn't going to work because of a bit of snow.
Careful Story. You obviously had too many snow days with that spelling. Thing is you wouldn't sue your boss if you fell in the snow - most parents would.
Back to the game being off - wimps. Learn to drive.
