Was watching Arsenal V Stoke the other week & Stoke were losing 3-0 when it came over the PA system that something (can't remember what) had happened that meant there were going to be delays for the Stoke supporters getting home. The Arsenal supporters started singing.........3 - 0 & you can't get home, 3 - 0 and you can't get home.

While being funny (ish) did the same chant get sung to us at Sunderland? because I'm sure there was a quick-as-you-like reply off the Barrow supporters, just can't remember what.

Beer again :o
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

"All Bluebirds are Blue" used to get a good half hour some games. Non stop, going into a lull then kept coming back just as it was dying out. It may have actually gone a full second half one game.

One of those are you gonna pack it in lads- no we are going to carry it on.

The atmosphere has been as flat as a pancake this season.

To the tune of Vera Lynn's 'we'll meet Again..' Villa fans on Saturday piped up with:

"We'll score again, ...don't know where, don't know when..."

Brilliant. This is a side who have a paltry 11 league goals from 22 games, which is apparently the lowest total of the top 8 tiers of English football, according to MOTD on Saturday night.

"Ivan, Ivan, give us a goal". Barrow supporters at Goole in 1968, when the match referee Ivan Robinson was the same official who had scored the only goal in the victory over Plymouth Argyle at Holker Street the previous week.

"Where was the goolie when the ball was in the net?". Same supporters, same match, when Barrow (but not Ivan!) scored.

Memory is a bit vague here but pretty sure it was in the glorious 83-84 season and one side we had trouble against was South Liverpool. I think we played them a couple of times quite close together (one possibly a cup match) and I'm pretty sure we at least lost one at Holker St 2.1, possibly won the other 2.1 or drew 2.2. Anyway, in one of these games a S.Liverpool defender called Cyril scored an OG for us, so...inevitably....

"Nice One Cyril, nice one son.."

Pretty funny when you're 13.

they find a dead cat and they think it's a treat, down in Bamber Bridge.."

When Rangers goalkeeper Andy Goram was revealed to be mildly schizophrenic, quick-witted fans chanted this to the tune of ‘Guantanamera’: “Two Andy Gorams, There’s only two Andy Gorams.
'ere luv....does this smell like chloroform to you??

It isn't witty and it's not a chant but some strange person from fylde tweeted this earlier.
I think he's the fylde equivalent as wintergreen :D

Was watching a game against Middlesbrough ages ago and they had a centre forward called Job.
The fans kept singing :
There's only one job on Teesside
