Well it was those two who completed it as I had a conversation with Tony Keen telling me about the negotiations.
I've been in conversation with Keen the younger and sometimes he exaggerates and sometimes he's economical with the truth, so don't take everything he says as gospel
Until proven otherwise I will take the word of someone I speak to face to face rather an anonymous person on a forum.
To clarify I was talking about the continuation of the sponsorship at the end of last season in which Brian was a party to and not the original setting up of the deal.

Deli.sh can have their name on the shirt if they supply matchday pies.
Popular side since '03.

Whatever the position re. Sponsorship, I hope that the making available of pies to supporters on match days is high on the agenda for next season. These things are rarely as simple to achieve as they may appear but with Barrow's national fame in the pie stakes and for a whole myriad of other reasons, it is a travesty that supporters, both home and away, do not have access to pies on match days/nights at Holker Street.

I raised the subject of pies with the Bluebird Trust about them maybe selling pies as I am fed up of people moaning (no offence Cubbins Paratrooper, people closer to me I mean) about us not doing them and this was the response:

The shop isn't fit for it (no hot and cold running water), we'd need to be inspected by the Environmental Health, need people to go on food prep and hygiene courses etc etc.

That's fair enough and I appreciate that, but could the guy who owns the burger vans not sort it out and provide pies. Don't know if he reads this forum or what but if enough people asked them for it surely he would have to think about it. I couldn't give a toss either way
everyone is entitled to their opinion, deal with it

Pies and Bovril. Should be part of the ground grading criteria.

Plus decent ale in the clubhouse, of course.
