Being so far away from anywhere we have very little sympathy for your 7500 miles of travelling, but if you roll over and hand us the title on the last day of the season (if necessary) I'll personally buy you a Family Railcard to assist next season. Besides which, we're probably one of your longer away days, so really we're only trying to help you out!

The Stanford Arms, a couple of minutes from the ground has its devotees, as does the
Triangle, a good range of real ales. The Havelock is well situated opposite the main entrance to Crown Meadow and the Rose at the rear of the ground can be worth a visit.

In the centre of town there is the usual range of plastic pubs, notably the Weatherspoons
Joseph Conrad, but I would urge all fans of real ales to sample the Trawlerboys Ale in the
Clubhouse. Big screen showing Premiership lunchtime game and all the usual amenities will
be available in the Clubhouse.

That's quite correct Audigex as both clubs are ' geographically challenged ' being situated out on a limb. I am sure that the majority of clubs in the North would be glad to see the back of the both of us. Ominously though you may well be replaced by Wukkie, should you take the Title. Not a happy thought for us. Another 15 hour round trip to savour.

Let's hope that the SUITS take notice and reassign us to the South, whilst you enjoy the
delights of Torquay and all points South.

Four quid!!!! Jeez, I paid £2.80 for a pint of Jennings at the Vic in Drigg the other day.

Welcome to the South.....although having said that I paid £2.20 in Wetherspoons, Woolwich
yesterday.....it was a special guest beer, normal price £3.80. That's the market.

It was £3.95 in the Red Lion, Brackley for a pint of IPA daylight robbery

Mind you only £2.60 for Belhaven stout in their clubhouse and it was black nectar
