Forest Green v Barrow match thread
Re: Forest Green v Barrow match thread
What's the crack with Edmo not being in the dug-out by the way? Is he suspended, or something?

Easier said than done for a start we couldn't get the original targets we went for. then there's the logistics of getting to training etc, I'm not saying your wrong but I think we just need a couple more decent players but let's not panic yet let's get behind edmo and the players not the time for slagging people off!DaveP wrote:Get the cheque book out before the market closes

Many thoughts going through my mind here. I don't know how different this would have been with 11 on the pitch- still would have been very difficult. We've played two really strong teams away back to back. I don't want to over react but clearly this has been a massive wake up to what we are up against with teams at the top end of this table. Regards getting stronger after this I am hoping that this really tough week can somehow galvanise the team and management and they can learn quickly from these experiences.

We were always going to struggle to get anything out of the game today and impossible with 10 men FGR will be one of the top teams in the league this season.3 games in 1 win and two losses see how we fare at home on Tuesday.

Harsh and hasty yet you've already earmarked his successor. Great craic.SKIPPER wrote:Harsh and hasty (these were two games we were fully expected to lose) but wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Paul Murray in charge before Christmas if there is no improvement in upcoming games.Leo wrote:Rumours of Casson calling an Emergency Board meeting to discuss Edmo's future

Massive over reaction we were never expected to get anything from Grimsby & fgr, I have no doubt we can pick up maximum points against guiesley, Southport and halifax BTID
Just my opinion

Well, looking on the bright side, I don't expect anyone will be able to complain about Cowps at right back when Livesey and Williams are out! Cheer up, folks, things can only get better!
