The season (and possibly Cook's contract) may not actually be over yet as there are play-offs still to be completed.

Isn't there an agreement with the club that he would not join another conference side? with the premise of him wanting to leave being based on a desire to play at a higher level but as you say its a very long way from Ferryhill!

He's out of contract, he can join anyone he wants.

This move or non move could go on for a while, so how long do the club wait before making an offer/offers to other strikers? Between a rock and a hard place situation maybe

I think we have to assume he's gone and crack on appropriately.

Eastleigh not exactly close to home or football league would have to be some serious money surely to go there.

I wonder if Cooky is going to go back to Grimsby if they win the playoff today?
Let's hope Forest Green win and he may still be our player next season

I think 12 pages of the same old thing is enough now. Just wait and see what happens.

Contract probably ends on May 31 so may be officially announced then.

I don't blame him for going if he goes to a league club - a player should always have the ambition to play at the higher level and let's be honest do people really expect us to be in the league any time soon - I'm not convinced

I think our Owner expects us to be there ASAP
I think our owner is deluded

Probably refers to Williams (Steve) given he's just opted to join Fylde.

And no, i wouldn't have used 'star' either.

In the NWEM hierarchy, is a 'star' a greater or lesser figure than an 'ace'?
