Re: Grandy
I hope we are going to get a statue of Simon Grand outside of Holker Street.

Re: Grandy
A player who always gave his best but not good enough for a team that wants to be pushing for the play-offs next season in this division. He will do an excellent job for someone else looking to get out of Conference North. Good luck Simon.

Re: Grandy
Certainly can't fault him for effort and commitment, and spilling blood for the team. Thanks for your time at Holker St and good luck for the future, Grandy.

Re: Grandy
If he's bought a house there then that may well bring Fylde into the picture - I can see both Grand and Walker ending up there.....whitty1969 wrote:All the best Grandy. Always gave 100%....
Bought a house in Chorley, so guess you may end up there..…... Hope it goes well...

Have to thank Grandy and JW for what they have done for us. Grand has done good although his legs may be slower by now. As for JW, he is still one of the fittest and I would have kept him as squad and I am sure he would have loved that. We move on tho so Thanks to all who have left and may the football gods treat you well.

When did JW last win a header? Or burst through a defence? Fire in a monster 35 yard shot to win the FA Trophy? Well okay, the last one was perhaps a one-off...orpheus wrote:Have to thank Grandy and JW for what they have done for us. Grand has done good although his legs may be slower by now. He used to jump about 8ft in the air and then hover there for 30 seconds waiting for the cross, but I can't remember the last time I saw him do that. I don't think he's at the point of retirement yet, but he's not the player he used to be.
