a former member of this forum didn't know you were a sycophantThe Real Slim a former member of this forum wrote:Sorely missed Reg and you are right about modern day football.Reg wrote:I've been away since Bayliss went mental on the radio and that bald bloke from up the coast lied about the conciliatory meeting between the manager and a supporter involved and I have barely missed it at all.
I'm pleased for a handful of the true fans that trek up and down the country watching the team that it looks like Barrow are going to have a memorable season.
If they get to the fourth round and pull a big name from the hat, I'll briefly jump back on the bandwagon and would also turn up at Wembley or a play off final should they make one but otherwise, I'm not arsed.
I'll never be a regular on any terrace again. Football turns my stomach most of the time. Supporters and taken for mugs and taken for granted, whilst being overcharged for what is often a very moderate product.

The quality of discourse has gone downhill markedly since I left it would seem.
