Evidently new ones to go up before the old ones come down, work due to start shortly..

Remember it being stated they'd be 30M - so similar height to old ones.
On the "this week at Barrow" video, Austin mentioned that planning permission had been submitted - but there's no mention of it on the council website !!!

That should suit Paul then (Casson), I seem to remember him saying that the floodlights were a "prominent feature of the Barrow skyline"-something like that anyway-.
So if the new ones are the same height,brilliant !.

3 weeks to go until when the club stated the new floodlights would be in place - still can't find any mention of a planning application on the council website. Mystery or another season delay ??

I've been asking the same question for weeks since the club stated on a number of occasions planning permission has been applied for

there is no way these floodlights will be up anytime soon, in my honest opinion.

As far as I know nothing has changed, the start date is still the same and there are no problems.

I'm seeing if I can get an update right now.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
